The whole world, starting in Sweden
The patent record has been global since it existed. The method that reads it does not change at a border. Almost everything else does.
Why the reading travels and the rest does not
A search of the record is the same work in every country. The documents are published in dozens of languages, the classification scheme is international, and a family filed in Japan is as findable from Stockholm as from Tokyo. That part of what we do has no home market.
What does change is everything downstream. Which standard applies, which authority you deal with, what a conformity assessment costs and how long it takes, and whether a claim you may make in one market is forbidden in another.
So we work from Sweden, and we say plainly at the start which parts of an engagement are the same anywhere and which need somebody local. Naming that boundary early is more useful than pretending it is not there.

Sweden first, and then outward
Starting narrow is a choice. A firm that claims every market has references in none of them, and the same logic applies to geography as to fields.
The work travels outward from here as the people who can do it properly do. We are not going to put a date on that, because a date is a promise about hiring rather than about capability.
